light mapping explorations

Guerilla light mapping and typographic exploration made as a personal project for 36 days of type. To challenge myself at learning Resolume and experiment with light projection I'd take my video projector out everyday and find surfaces and mediums onto which I would carve letters out of light.

It being a daily task made it an interesting challenge as it would limit the time spent on each projection, I instead focused on finding a variety of expressions, be it on metal, rubber, a laundry basket, pipes, smoke, water reflections, a single letter on a keyboard or a large bathroom wall.
